PBIS Tier 1 Booster Trainings The PBIS Tier I Boosters are designed for school groups of two or more people including coaches, new or current team members, and/or administrators who are looking to strengthen current implementation. Both training sessions will address the team’s role in supporting the use of effective Tier 1 practices and effective decision making through strategic use of data, though each day has a focus area (see below). Common challenges with implementing each practice will be addressed with time to review and revise implementation. Teams may register to attend either or both trainings. Training 1 (10/30/18 or 3/13/19) will include how to define and teach relevant school-wide and classroom expectations. Training 2 (12/5/18) will include schoolwide and classroom practices related to response to behavior such as antecedent and environmental strategies, instructional strategies (including feedback), and consequence strategies (including reinforcement).
